Bill bought Mary a swatch watch a few years ago, and well over time (ha!) and after numerous straps it finally disintegrated just before we left for holidays. So it was agreed that Mary would get a new one when she was away... but in the Italian swatch shop they had few to choose from, and although she took some convincing, she agreed with Bill to wait until Germany as he was sure there would be a Swatch shop waiting for her there.
He was right, as always!
...It was like they knew she was coming!
